This made me smile!

My wonderful friend Sandra made this layout at two spotted dogs with cyber crop. She used Pencil Lines sketch #43 also. This mades me smile big time! That is Sandra's first granddaughter Isabella from. She surprised me by posted this layout on 2SD message board. Thank you for the surprise, Sandra!

Can see I had a cheesy grin on my face! Looking forward spend some time with Isabella.

2SD Cyber Crop

I just joined the 2 spotted dogs message board. (related to Scrapbooking online) last week. In time to join with the TSD's 1st Birthday cyber chanllenges. For this chanllenge I did with what in a name with nickname to call someone or pet. I choose to do with Rocky's name. That we have always call him Racco. And by surprised that I won the chanllenge! It was so tight an hour and did paid for it. This picture was taken on very same night when we adopted him. It has been in frame for past 7 years. I am happy I used this picture. Hard to believe that Rocky is seven years old! It is 6x12 layout.

Actually Rocky is his name. When we first adopted him. We struggled with what name we liked. Took us a week by then first visit with the Vet. We said it out loud "Rocky" He was a tough kitty. Ever since then.. When we have habit to call him "Racco"

Ride along LO

I just did other layout today. I am happy with results. I used Pencil Lines' sketch #42. Used my stash. Journaling~It was a beautiful day so we decided to use my Christmas gift to Mo, tickets to the Richard Petty Driving Experience. It was Mo's first time on a ride-along, and my second. We took 3 laps around the track going as fast as 165 mph. Mo's comment after his ride... BIG WOW!

Blueberry picking

Yesterday we all went for blueberry picking by Emily's home. All Emily wanted to do is eat out of her mom's hand with blueberries. It was funny. She did some of picking. Emily and we both got about one and half pound blueberries. It was good timing in early morning and with weather was overcast with so little sunny. Mo and I already had some with waffles for breakfast. Yummy!

Layout!

I did this layout before the race weekend. I meant to go back and finish it. So there I finished it. I had Mo help me with use MS word program to adjust the journaling to fit in at side the circle. This sketch #40 from Pencil Lines was chanelleged though! I had the journaling printed on the transparency. I used all of papers and embellishments from my stash and painted "meow" chipboards. Love this layout!

Journaling: Rocky we know you love Sheba very much. You love to pick on and tease Sheba all the time. It is good to see that you have started to leave Sheba alone. You don't mind letting Sheba have her turn at the bathroom faucet for a drink. Sheba does the same with you. And Sheba, we can see you love Rocky even if he is a pain toward you. He loves you and wants to play with and pick on you. You care about him. You seem to know he is much younger than you and needs your patience. Sheba, you have put up with Rocky for a long time. Both of you love each other very much but you each have your own way of showing it. Rocky will always have memories of you. One day he will teach another kitten what he has learned from you. All you need is love.

Petty ride-along day

We choose today date to go for Petty ride-along. Just a perfect day with the weather too. Soon we arrived there, found all booked with all type of driving and ride-along until in afternoon. We came back in afternoon. Turned in our tickets and signed in with hand stamped. I went ahead in the line while Mo could take pictures. Just wow how fast the car went. Mo was able to take some pictures. Went at about 165 mph. We asked if could have digital camera inside the car. They said no not allowed and said very shaky. We could see that! I went for ride in 2005 and it was huge wow same way how Mo felt today. He said swear thought that car was going off level and would have hit the wall. I thought it funny because it was his first ride. I tried to have him go for ride in 2005. He was big chicken! It fun to try out for ride to get some feeling. Just luck picture I was able to catch with Mo's car passed by with digital camera. All picutres are all mixed from both camera. I was happy that I gave Mo the surprise with Christmas gift with the ride-along tickets to go. If was no tickets, may wouldn't make it out to go.

Take a good look at the pictures.. Can see the difference with Mo's smile before and after the ride. :-) :-D

We went racing

Tony Stewart #20 won the race. He dare to climb up the fence to top. (he has pet a monkey :-P) Nascar Official warned Tony not do that but he ignored and climbed.

Look down with mixed pictures from Saturday and Sunday races. 2 F-18 Hornets flew over the track during the singing of the National Anthem. Most pictures with race are from Sunday. At very last minute Mo tried to get hold of Kerri. Dang it, had to hear from someone fast. So Mo contacted with his friend Brian to come. Chris has one extra ticket to use. Mo's brother Jeff came with Justin. Chris with his sons, Eddie and Kevin with his a few friends stayed for race and overnight. Chris made sure we were all taken care of and made comfortable He not a race fan. Just to cover his ears, SO LOUD race. We stayed at Chris' RV over the weekend. Much easier than back and forth home.

The weekend are here! Mo and I are looking forward to do some things over the weekend. Back to scrapping! No fun, clean house. Of course cut lawn, due! We have somewhere fun to go tomorrow. (will post about that one later)

We will do one more post with pictures from at the race time later. That will be last one related to racing.

I'm looking forward to see my great friends on next week to have the cookout here. Sandra and Heather with her little girl. I should take a few pictures too. :-) Maybe see other one or two friends too. If I get lucky with get hold of them.

Having fun at track

1. I did most of driving with golf cart. 4. We met Richard Karn "Al" from tv's home improvement. 6. I'm disqualifed! :-P 13. Checker flags earrings to wear! 14. Can't even see who might be important people in limo passed us going into infield. 15. We called guys for help to push cart back to rv (was long way!) 16. Hang out with Lisa and others. 18. Cool crocs! Had game to win and I won! Ha! Funny!! 19. Mo got couple of Dale Jr. for 50% off. 21. using tunnel to get infield under the track. 24. Mo and I being silly it. 25. Jeff Burton #31 with question and answer. 26. We met with Reed Sorenson #41. 29. I tried out the tool with Dewalt, fun! LOL! 31. Best luck Dale Jr next year with other team.

From Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights people hang out with tailgate going on. Just so much fun out there. Mo and I spent our time on cart and drove around mostly. Or visit with Lisa at her RV spot. (we have avoided other things not something want to take pictures)

Not much here

That's all Sheba wants to do is sleep long day. Wait until her Dad is home then she will be awake. I was playing around to take pictures of her at bed while some good light from window without using the flash. I really need to pick out some pictures from race weekend to set up the sideshow. Will make sure not bore to some of you.

Getting comfortable..

Just had to post pictures of Rocky in the bag! We just got home last night from Chicagoland NASCAR race weekend. We had so much fun! I am not even sure where to begin. Will get to the point to share some pictures. Be back on that one soon. Rocky and Sheba were very happy when we came home last night. Both of them of course begged for water and treats! I really need to get moved with mess here and there from the weekend.

Really love those pictures!

I really love those pictures!! Rocky wanted to have some water after Sheba had her turn. For moment Rocky sat down with his paw on sink. He looked up at his dad when he was talking to him. The 3rd picture is a bit burry. He must have moved when he was about to go for water to drink.

Another layout

The other day I did this layout. So all are complete I think. Event from 4th of July evening.

Journaling~ It was a beautiful evening in Lansing. Mo was taking pictures of the fireworks and did not even realize he had taken this picture of the smiley face until after we developed the
pictures! It was perfect timing.

The sights and the sounds were very festive.
I was so happy that I could convince Mo to go
to this show. The rain came, as predicted, but
it missed in Lansing. We had a great time!

One more

We were just drove in from out. Mo saw something moved. Mo pointed, showed me where it was at. I looked in the dark. Awesome, I know it gross and silly to take picture of this toad. Just that it has been long time since we have seen one. I told Mo to get digital camera. Used the flashlight and Mo took a few pictures. Finally last picture looks good.

After finish. Mo used the stick to lead the toad back to lawn. The toad kept face into side of logs. Mo could see the toad stopped to take deep breathe.

We were already far from town. Can see the sky look so bad. Used flash on this picture in back of car window. Mo said to me, "you are storm chaser" I laughed hard. Then it did pour hard very quick storm!

Can't wait..

Mo couldn't wait! It is coming real soon! This weekend chicagoland NASCAR race here. We will be staying at my brother in law Jeff's brother in law's RV infield. It has been moved to different local. Just closer to track at backstretch close to turn 2. I found that Mo took this clear backpack out of closet. I have warned Mo a few times to make list with what we may need for weekend. Mostly need films and batteries for his scanner. He said need to re-program his scanner with drivers # etc. I don't get it, I don't need it, ha! Let's see if Mo keeps his word. Last night he said it out loud and clear. That he doesn't want to shop for anything at the track. Will he? Need to see that one. We will be walking around a lot. May able to use the golf cart. Will see about that. I will need to brace myself to be dirty while infield with the races over the weekend. Will be bunch of tailgating inside too. Will watch the crazy people!
