@ the Morton Arboretum

It was a beautiful day at the Morton Arboretunm last Saturday. Our niece, Emily was in great mood and it's her favorite place to play and hang out at the children's garden. It is desgined for children to visit and explore around. Mo's mom's always favorite place to visit and volunteer there. Actually it was Mo's grandma's favorite place too. (we missed her) So much has been changed at Morton Arboretum since we last visited there. We often forgot how beautiful it is there. Mo and I finally to get see this.

Fall decorations!

I'm definitely ready for autumn! Fall decorations are out. It is still warm in 80's this week. Last week was so perfect cool weather. I could see that some of the leaves have recently started changing color. Can't wait!!

• Planted Dad's Birthday bench
• Golden Mushroom with Pork Chop for dinner
• Ice cream Oreo cake
• Laundry loads to be completed
• Play with Rocky and Sheba
• Mo checked camping supplies what we may need
• Paid bills.. no fun!

All of little things we did around here.

a little preview...

Just a little preview with my layout. I got to do some scrapping with Sandra last night at her place. It was great to see her at the same time. Just that I 'm exciting about this layout. Looks good I got to use the rub on this layout too. I am always afaird to use some of things on layouts. Right now with this layout need a nice complete touch before I can show the whole pictures of this layout. This kit got from Two Spotted Dogs online. Plus it has been some weeks since I have scrapped. It was good feeling with this layout! Thank to Sandra!! :-D

A long weekend..

What a beautiful evening! Pictures were taken at North Creek Meadow Forest Preserve nearby our home. I have told Mo that I wanted him to see this place last a few days. Finally we both made it there tonite. Just right timing with sunset. Unexpected to see butterflies were flying all over there. So neat!! Mo found a grasshopper and it stayed for picture. :-) Only thing can see the bad case with mosquito. Can see they are big size!


Nice necklace with shaped heart and a "person" and I need a pumpkin's head! Ah one more! The stand fork added with my collection. :-)

We had notes I wrote down what we need to do over the weekend. We went out to this local Fall Festival. We got couple of things we liked. Mo got to wash and wax our cars plus clean inside. (about time!). A few errands too. Where did the time went? So quickly. In morning I kept waking up so early. Thought best go for work but it was only weekend. I have morning duty to open at school 3 times week. I also cleaned out scrapbook supplies. Much much better! Maybe about 1/4 way to finish. Mostly just need to straighten out inside the cabinets. I have got rid lot of papers and misc die cuts, most from long ago. Way out of styles. (eww, trust me!)
