Frost morning

Mo went ahead and took a few pictures of frost in lawn. We had frost to expect overnight a few times already. The pictures was taken from yesterday morning.

Butterprint Farm Pumpkin Patch

Gourds

• So much fun with beautiful weather last Saturday
• Out on farm, Emily helped us pick out couple pumpkins
• Emily loved it there
• Barrel rides
• Emily got a ghost painted on her cheek
• Goats loves us
• Big white goose calling out
• Picture of big white goose perfect, shaked up it's wings
  
• Corns cracking
  
• I was all thrilled with find gourds from vines. And Mo couldn't say no
  
• Complete forgot there are a few more to do there.
  

We are looking forward to carve our pumpkins this weekend! Have a great weekend!

Horseback Riding

• Last one spot on vacation
• We went for horseback riding in morning
• before we leave back home
• Glad we did!
• it was beautiful!!
• Even it was difficult to take pictures with 35mm camera
• Very bumpy ride, no good pictures
• Mo's horse was in front of me and kept up with group.
• Once my horse passed by. Mo gave me the camera
• Couldn't make it to get camera back to me.
• Mo's horse slow down back up, hard time keep up with the group.
• My horse decided to stop to eat leaves
• View was so beautiful even couldn't take pictures!
• Ride went on for an hr and half.

Laurel Falls in Great Smoky Mountain

• 80' height water fall
• 2.5 miles both ways
• On and off rain
• I was already hot
• poured some water on my head
• Hard hiking up and up steep
• Safety First: Several Fatalities and numerous injuries have resulted from people climbing on rocks near warerfalls. These rocks are very slippery due to algae and mist. Please avoid the remptation to climb to the tops of waterfalls. Closely supervise children at all times.
• The message mean it!

• When we went up and back down.. we stayed at side than edge.
• It was not funny
• It was dangerous for sure.
• But we enjoyed it
• beautiful views!
• When we were at water falls.
• I simple stepped on rocks at bottom
• I fell down. Mo had me in his arm in first place
• He tried to help again
• Because I fell again (yes, twice)
• I said let me go!
• I crawled on my knees to safe spot to get up
• I don't care if I got dirty. Rather safety
• I was at near very edge. (not right at edge no no)

• Again beautiful!

• We love to check and see more water falls!
• when we back down at bottom.
• We was on go hiking back.
• I wanted to stop and check if Mo behind me
• I almost couldn't stop walking
• my legs want keep going

Thank you for looking at all of vacation pictures. All of places we went was in one day! Still a lot more to do! We already said that we have to go back to Great Smokey Mountain. Total of hiking we did was 7.9 miles! We were all sore for about 3 days.

Clingmans Dome in Great Smoky Mountain

• 6643 feet 2024m
• A 360* view from highest peak in the park, paved trail to observation



• 1/2 miles both ways



• to get to the Clingmans Dome



• Long and hard walking as go on high



• Be sure have water bottle with you!



• We didn't have water bottle with us!



• Thank to Mo! :-P



• He said not needed.



• Well it was needed for sure!



• More walking, break sat down in between as go up



• (See naked trees) Fraser firs killed by balsam wooly adelgids



• Beautiful views!



• The moment we finally arrived at the Clingmans Dome



• Just little more walking to top



• Sudden the fog hit on us there



• We stayed and waited if the fog would lift away



• Some fog did lifted



• May why see some pictures are "off" because of fog



• We left go back at bottom.

Great Smoky Mountains

@ side road

• We went for driving
• so neat as going up and up the mountain
• many side road to pull over
• to take pictures
• State line with Tennessee and North Carolina
• we went on way to Clingmans Dome
• We were glad we got van gas full
• packed some apples and bananas with peanutbutter and jelly sandwich
• no gas station or food on this road
• So beautiful day
• changing leaves just began!
• The weather was so nice

@ the cabin

In Tennessee

• We stayed at the cabin
• Just right spot on the hill
• to watch beautiful sunrise
• other than the drive way was so steep!
• It was hard on Rental van, ha not expect it
• Another than that it was so beautiful view

Little River Falls in Alabama

On road, on way to Smoky Mountain, still in Alabama

• We pulled over side road to check this out



• Little River Falls, Cool!



• See sign with the picture of water fall. Supposed be like that.



• But has been serious drought this time.



• I walked away from Mo to walk over the rocks where supposed be full of water flow.



• I loved it. Was looking for where water fall at.



• Mo finally found me. (Oops!)

• He almost refused go on rocks. But he did after I pointed not that far.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

The cookies looks good! I found this recipe from someone else's blog. And I had the guts to bake and I did! Tastes good! I forgot how my mom liked to have the icing on some desserts! It is perfect dessert for Thanksgiving.
