Dad's only kind cookies @ Christmas time!!

Pretzel Candies


A quick recipe I got from Alecia from Message Board.

I used the waffle squares and mint kisses.
(2 bags of kisses covered 3 gift bags filled)

Mini Pretzel Twists (you can use any of the smaller ones though, waffle squares, trees if you can find them)

Hershey Kisses (I made an assortment, milk chocolate, dark chocolate & Hugs white chocolate)

Toppings (pecan halves, walnut halves, plain M&M's)

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees.

Lay out pretzels in single layer on cookie sheet. You can use foil to line your cookie sheet with if you want.

Place one unwrapped Hershey Kiss on each pretzel.

Place cookie sheet in oven for 1 - 2 minutes, longer if needed. You want the chocolate to just start melting. Keep an eye on them, it doesn't take long.

Remove cookie sheet and press your toppings down onto the slightly melted kiss.

Place cookie sheet in freezer for a few minutes to set the chocolate.

Wallah, you have some fun and REALLY good candies!!

~simple gift tags~

Simple idea for tags to be made to leave on the gifts. I have been avoiding from try the embossing and finally I got it after I tried it at Archvier's to emboss on part of make n' take. Cool and where have I been those past years? I'm thinking of keep a small supplies to use them. {wink}
